Porsche Carrera Cup NA is a sprint series for the 992-generation Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, divided into Pro, Pro-Am and Masters classes. The field is professional or semi-professional; the Pro class draws early-career sportscar drivers graded Silver, led by drivers such as Tom Sargent and Aaron Jeansonne, while the Pro-Am and Masters classes are predominantly amateur gentleman drivers. The series sits in the middle tier of one-make and spec-car racing. Drivers arrive principally from PCA Club Racing and IMSA Pilot Challenge, and move on most often to GT World Challenge America; some also step up to IMSA WeatherTech. The field is materially weaker than IMSA Pilot Challenge, its closest feeder series, and far weaker than GT World Challenge America, which takes its top graduates.
