Adam Stroup is a club-level driver who raced in national solo sprint competition in the United States, competing in the SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals between 2021 and 2022. He drove a spec 1990–2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata in the SM class, one of 25 classes sharing multiclass grids.[1]
Stroup took 13 starts across two seasons. His best result came in 2022, his final year of racing; he won once in the SCCA Regionals and took four podiums across both series that season. In the 2022 SCCA Regionals championship he finished 33rd in the points.[2]
He raced most often against entry-level professionals including Tyler Brown, a regular Majors and Regionals entrant, and Justin Hille, a much more experienced driver with over 60 NASA starts and multiple championships to his name. Stroup typically finished behind both. He beat Hille once and took a single victory over Cam Ebben, the 2026 SCCA Runoffs SMX champion.
