Arie Jr. Luyendyk is a Dutch and American auto racing driver and son of two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Arie Luyendyk. Based in North America, he built his racing career competing primarily in North American series and achieved notable results in Indy Lights, where he finished as high as second in the championship standings across multiple seasons.[1]
Luyendyk's IndyCar career consisted of a single start in 2006, where he finished 33rd without securing a podium finish. Following his racing efforts, he transitioned into a test driver role for A1 Team The Netherlands in the A1 Grand Prix series beginning in the 2007-08 season. He has also worked as a television personality in addition to his racing pursuits.[2]
