Austin Wayne Self is an entry-level professional competing in American stock car racing, primarily on oval tracks. He raced full-time in the ARCA Menards Series early in his career before moving to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series as his main focus, though he continued part-time ARCA starts into 2022. He drove for his family team, AM Racing, fielding the No. 22 Ford F-150 in the Truck Series.[1]

Across 11 seasons from 2013 to 2023, Self took 156 starts and recorded one win and eight podiums. His single victory came in the ARCA Menards Series, where he was most competitive; he made 51 starts there and finished on the podium eight times. He moved to the Truck Series in 2018 and made 105 starts over six seasons, competing almost entirely on ovals. His final indexed season in 2023 saw just one Truck Series start before his retirement, finishing 36th in the championship standings.[2]
