Austin Hill is an American stock car racing driver who has built his career within the NASCAR ranks, most notably in association with Richard Childress Racing. Before establishing himself as a driver of note, Hill also ventured into team ownership, running Austin Hill Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series from 2013 to 2017, an experience that gave him early exposure to the business and technical sides of the sport before he shifted his focus fully toward competing behind the wheel. That dual background as both owner and driver has informed his approach to a career that has since grown to include a championship and a substantial win total across NASCAR competition.[1]
Across 289 career starts, Hill has secured 24 wins, 54 podium finishes, and one series championship, earned in 2020. He carries a Racer Rating of 4,058, placing him 795th among active drivers on that Elo-style scale. Hill remains active in the NASCAR Cup Series, and his 2026 season has so far produced one podium finish in a single round, leaving him P50 in the standings early in the campaign.[2]
