Pepe Oriola is an established professional competing in single-class touring car championships. He races a TCR car for GOAT Racing in the TCR World Tour, where he is currently active with two starts in 2025. Across his career since 2011, he has competed in the World Touring Car Championship, the FIA World Touring Car Cup, and the 24H Series; his primary tenure was with Campos Racing in the WTCC from 2011 to 2014.[1]

Over 106 starts across all series, Oriola has taken two wins and fourteen podiums. His win tally includes one from the World Touring Car Championship in 2013 and one from the FIA World Touring Car Cup in 2018, where he finished fourth in the championship standings. He scored seven podiums in that Cup campaign, his most productive season on record. His one other podium came in the 24H Series in 2020 as part of a shared-drive endurance entry. His record in the World Touring Car Championship spans 73 starts between 2011 and 2014, during which he secured six podiums; he began that championship at age 16, becoming the youngest driver ever to compete, score points, and win a race in the WTCC.[2]

Oriola has spent his career in fields mixing amateurs with established professionals. Against the consistent presence of Yvan Muller, a four-time World Touring Car Champion with over 350 starts across touring car and open-wheel racing, he typically finished behind. Against Norbert Michelisz, the 2023 and 2024 TCR World Tour champion, the two have been closely matched across their shared races. Oriola has finished ahead of Thed Bjork, the 2017 World Touring Car Champion, on twelve occasions.
