🇺🇸 Ava Dobson

Ava Dobson is a competitive amateur racing in a multiclass international junior single-seater championship for Hitech in F1 Academy, where she races the FR, OR and RG classes across thirteen countries. She competes in her first indexed season at this level with support from American Express. Dobson has raced single-seaters and karting since 2021, accumulating 51 starts across six series including GB4, where she has made most of her appearances for Arden Motorsport.[1]

Her record stands at one podium across all series. Earlier campaigns in US F4 and USF2000 yielded no podiums, and she has made brief appearances in USF Juniors and SKUSA SuperNationals. Her current F1 Academy season is underway with seven starts logged so far.[2]

Dobson typically finishes behind her regular opponents. She has raced repeatedly against Megan Bruce, a semi-professional FIA Silver graded driver with 36 GB4 starts and nine in F1 Academy, and Jack Taylor, an entry-level professional with 34 GB4 and 6 GB3 starts; both have generally outpaced her when they have met. She has beaten Lewis Wherrell, a professional with experience in British F4 and GB4, twice, and G3 Argyros, an entry-level professional from the USF ladder, once.
