Benoit Marcille is a developing amateur competing in national multiclass sprint racing in the United States. He raced Porsches in PCA Club Racing between 2012 and 2014, competing in the E and SP996 classes, and moved to NASA in 2015 to race a Porsche 996 C2 in the GTS3 class.[1]
Across five seasons and 17 starts, Marcille took one win, in NASA, and five podiums combined. His record in PCA Club Racing ran to 13 starts with three podiums, finishing seventh in the 2014 championship standings in his final season with the series. His NASA campaign was brief; four starts between 2015 and 2018 yielded one win and two additional podiums.[2]
Marcille typically finished behind the regular opponents he faced most often, including Siggi Meissner, a developing driver with 114 PCA Club Racing starts, and John Montgomery, who raced at club level. His best result against stronger competition came once against Bill Smith, a semi-professional with 30 Porsche Carrera Cup NA starts and 14 PCA Club Racing entries.
