Pat Heptig is a competitive amateur racing solo in PCA Club Racing, a national multiclass championship mixing amateur and professional drivers on the same grid. Based in the United States, Heptig has raced Porsches in the 911CUP, E, and F classes since 2007, accumulating 175 starts, 22 wins and 70 podiums across nearly two decades. In 2025 Heptig made a single start in SVRA's Group 6 12 class.[1]

Heptig has sustained a long career as a regular in PCA Club Racing's grid of amateur and semi-professional entrants. The consistency of finishes at podium level, 70 podiums from 175 starts, shows a driver comfortable at club level and capable of winning races in that company. Heptig finished ahead of Philip Hanson, an established professional with an FIA Gold rating and 52 World Endurance Championship starts, seven times across their meetings in PCA Club Racing; the same grid also saw wins over Mark Hupfer, a semi-professional endurance driver with 15 International GT starts. Against the regular opponents Heptig faces most often, Bill Miller and Steve Coomes, both developing-level drivers and PCA Club Racing regulars with similar career profiles, the record is closely matched.[2]
