Friedrichs was a semi-professional racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship where he drove modified production-based Porsches in the SP 7 class and near-standard production cars in the V6 class for BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction Porsche. He contested the series across four seasons from 2011 to 2014, sharing his car with co-drivers as part of the championship's endurance format.[1]

Over 24 starts, Friedrichs took six podiums and finished seventh in the championship standings in his final season of 2014. His results came against a field mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals; he regularly competed against Georg Weiss and Oliver Kainz, both multiple SP 7 champions in the series, and typically finished behind them. He took victories over established professionals including David Schiwietz and Andreas Weishaupt, who between them had logged substantial experience in the championship.
