Daniel Lipetz is a developing driver racing in SVRA, a national multiclass championship where six classes share the track in solo sprint racing. He races in the Group 6 12 class and is currently in his second season of indexed racing.[1]
Lipetz has eight starts across the 2025 and 2026 SVRA seasons, with one podium finish to date. The 2026 season is still in progress; he has taken that podium from three rounds raced so far.[2]
In his regular competition he is closely matched with Steve Yarborough, another developing driver in SVRA, though he usually finishes behind Jon DeGaynor, a competitive amateur who also races Trans-Am. He has beaten Ara Malkhassian, a semi-professional with seventeen Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup starts and twelve SVRA appearances, and Danny Lowry, a club-level driver who won the Trans-Am XGT championship in both 2022 and 2023 and has raced in Trans-Am, SVRA and SCCA Regionals.
