Bill Peluchiwski was a competitive amateur racing driver with a Racer Rating of 2,553, placing him at the club racing level. This means he was a real competition driver racing against other amateurs and semi-professionals, typically finishing mid-pack in club fields. His nine-season career spanned 2007 to 2016 across 45 starts, with an average finishing position of sixth.[1]
Peluchiwski's racing centred on PCA Club Racing, where he competed from 2007 to 2014 in 43 starts and won the 2013 GTC5 championship. He scored 2 wins and 12 podiums in the series, though his head-to-head record against the most frequent rivals shows mixed competitiveness. Against Rafael Llopiz, a two-time PCA Club Racing GTC3 champion, Peluchiwski finished ahead in only 2 of 13 shared races. He had similar difficulty with Chris Wally, the 2015 GTC5 champion, finishing ahead in just 1 of 11 meetings. He fared better against some peers, beating Matt Alexander in 7 of 12 races and Seth Davidow in 8 of 11 encounters. He also scored isolated victories over stronger drivers including Andrew Thompson, John Goetz (a three-time PCA Club Racing champion), and Victor Gomez IV.
In 2016, Peluchiwski made a brief foray into Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge with Kelly-Moss Road and Race, competing in 2 rounds without adding to his win tally. He retired from active racing after that season.
