David Baker is a semi-professional driver who raced Porsches in national club and professional-level multiclass sprint championships in the United States between 2006 and 2017. His primary series was PCA Club Racing, where he competed across three Porsche classes over eleven seasons with Topp Racing and other entries.[1]

Baker took four wins and twenty-three podiums across seventy career starts. His longest tenure came in PCA Club Racing, where he scored all four of his victories and the majority of his podiums over a decade of competition. A brief stint in Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge competition in 2016 and 2017 saw him make six starts across the national series and its USA Yokohama variant, while two appearances in NASA's multiclass competition in 2012 rounded out his record.[2]

His record in club-level Porsche racing places him mid-field among the regulars he encountered most often. He finished consistently behind John L Crosby Jr., a club-level driver with 39 PCA Club Racing starts, and ran closely matched with Seth Davidow, a developing-level competitor. He finished ahead of Fred Poordad, an established professional with seven World Endurance Championship starts and ten Asian Le Mans Series entries, and beat Zacharie Robichon, a professional-level driver and 2021 IMSA WeatherTech GTD champion with forty-seven IMSA starts, each once in their careers.
