Bob Perritt is a club-level driver who spent a decade in national amateur and semi-professional multiclass racing, competing primarily in BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA championships across single-seater sprint formats. He raced BMWs in the IP class of BMW CCA Club Racing, his home series for nine seasons from 2012 to 2021, and made occasional starts in NASA's GTS3 and Super Touring 5 classes in a 325 BMW; he also contested four rounds of American Endurance Racing's Class 4 in shared-car multiclass endurance racing between 2016 and 2017.[1]
Perritt took 110 starts in BMW CCA Club Racing across that span, finishing on the podium 50 times and winning three races. He won once in four American Endurance Racing starts in 2017. His NASCAR activity was limited to five NASA starts between 2013 and 2019, yielding a single podium; his most recent racing came in 2019 NASA, where he finished 20th in the season standings across three rounds. Across all indexed series his record stands at 119 starts, four wins and 54 podiums.[2]
Perritt raced regularly against club and developing drivers in his primary series. He typically finished ahead of Greg Wharton, a developing-level regular in BMW CCA Club Racing, and usually behind Kevin Ogrodnik, a club-level driver who ran both BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA. He finished ahead of entry-level professionals on two occasions: Aristotle Balogh twice across endurance and NASA starts, and Gregory Liefooghe once in what remains his career record against that tier.
