Nicholas Karangelen competed in International GT racing during 2022, the only season of competition on record. He took five starts in the series and finished an average of fourth, securing a single podium finish across his outings. His Racer Rating of 1,209 places him in the developing amateur range, representing a driver with limited high-level racing experience and results that do not yet establish a consistent competitive pattern.[1]

Against his most frequent rivals, Karangelen struggled to maintain pace with the field. He finished behind Steve Dunn, an FIA Bronze graded professional, in all three races they shared; he also finished behind Nicklas Pank in all three of their meetings. His head-to-head record against 2022 International GT GT3.6 champion Chris Lee stood at one win to four losses across five shared races. Karangelen did secure isolated strong finishes against higher-rated competitors including Jack Gilsdorf and Phil Gilsdorf, each beaten once, but these single results do not indicate a sustained competitive advantage.

Karangelen is retired and has not raced since 2022. His limited tenure in International GT did not result in championship success or further competition at higher levels.
