Brad Drew is a club-level driver competing in national solo open-wheel racing across SCCA championships. He races Formula Mazda and open-wheel formula cars in the SCCA Regionals and Majors series, currently fielding entries in both FM and FX classes. His most recent activity is in SVRA, where he sits 56th in the championship standings as the 2026 season is still in progress.[1]
Drew won the 2023 SCCA Regionals championship and has taken three wins across his career, all in SCCA Regionals. Over five seasons in that series from 2022 to 2026, he has accumulated 24 podiums from 35 starts. His seven starts in SCCA Majors, the higher tier of SCCA national competition, yielded two podiums. Earlier in his career he competed in Star Mazda Championship in 2002 and 2003, made a single SCCA Runoffs appearance in 2020, and has recently begun racing in SVRA.[2]
Drew typically finishes ahead of Stew Tabak, a regular club-level opponent across SCCA Regionals and Majors, but usually sits behind Christian Okpysh, the 2023 and 2025 SCCA Regionals champion. He has finished ahead of entry-level professionals Jamie Bach and Brian Theines, each on a single occasion in Star Mazda Championship.
