Bruce McIntosh raced in American Endurance Racing between 2015 and 2019, competing in a multiclass championship that fielded amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers across five classes in shared-drive endurance events. He took one win and nine podiums across 20 starts, racing production-based cars in Class 1, Class 2 and Class Indy machinery.[1]
His record shows consistent mid-field performances. In his final indexed season in 2019, McIntosh took two podiums from two rounds and finished 23rd in the championship standings. Over his five seasons in the series, he regularly outfinished club-level opponents such as Keith Oldt and Steve Lady, and on occasion beat entry-level professionals including Preston Brown and Bronze-graded Lance Bergstein, both of whom had competed in higher formulae such as IMSA Pilot Challenge and NASA racing.[2]
