Catesby Jones is an entry-level professional racing in national multiclass endurance and club racing series in the United States. He holds an FIA Bronze grade, placing him among amateur and gentleman drivers in endurance racing. Jones drives for ACP - TANGERINE in the World Racing League, where he currently races in the GT4 class; his broader career spans American Endurance Racing in production-based machinery, the 24H Series in GT4 and touring car classes, BMW CCA Club Racing in BMWs, and IMSA Pilot Challenge in GT4-level sports cars. His rating of 3,474 describes a driver competing at the margins of professional racing, racing alongside established professionals in mixed-grade fields.[1]

Jones has raced for twelve seasons across club and endurance championships. His strongest performances came in the 24H Series, where he took two wins from four starts and finished on the podium in all four races he entered, racing for Team ACP - Tangerine Associates in multiclass endurance competition that drew fields spanning amateurs to graded professionals across thirteen countries. In BMW CCA Club Racing in 2024, he won three of three starts. His longer tenure in American Endurance Racing from 2016 to 2019 produced seven podiums from eighteen starts in production-car classes, while his earliest indexed racing in PCA Club Racing added a win from four starts. His most regular opponents are Rob Jackowitz, a semi-professional and 2017 American Endurance Racing Class 5 champion with whom Jones usually finishes behind, and Ted Wollmers, a club-level driver with whom he is closely matched. He has finished ahead of Bubba Wallace and Corey Heim, both established professionals from the NASCAR Truck and NASCAR Cup series, though once in each case; these were isolated results rather than patterns. His record in endurance racing, where shared-car finishes reflect all crew members' contributions, shows more promise in his pure speed than his rating alone suggests, particularly his unbeaten record in BMW CCA Club Racing's solo competition.
