Jason Marks is a semi-professional racing in multiclass endurance competition across American Endurance Racing and World Racing League. He shares production-based cars in AER's Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 categories and in WRL's GP1 and GTO classes, competing in a field that mixes amateurs with graded professionals. His most recent activity is with World Racing League, where he has taken two wins and two podiums across six rounds run so far in 2026 and currently sits 11th in the championship standings.[1]
Marks won the 2019 American Endurance Racing championship. Across AER from 2016 to 2021 he accumulated 10 wins and 23 podiums in 47 starts. His earlier racing included solo drives in BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA, where he won once and took two podiums in five starts combined. His career total stands at 13 wins and 28 podiums in 58 starts.[2]
His regular opponents in endurance racing span from competitive amateurs to entry-level professionals. Justin Tracy, a competitive amateur and 2024 AER Class 5 champion, is closely matched with him; Rob Jackowitz, an entry-level professional and 2017 AER Class 5 champion with 73 BMW CCA starts and 43 AER starts, is a regular opponent whom Marks typically finishes behind. Marks has beaten faster drivers including Mike Skeen, a professional and 2020 Trans-Am TA2 champion with 49 IMSA WeatherTech starts, twice in their meetings.
