🏳️ Chris Price

Chris Price raced at the competitive amateur level in NASA, a national multiclass championship mixing amateur and professional drivers in fifteen classes across single rounds from 2010 to 2021. He competed primarily in the Spec Miata class, driving a Mazda MX-5 in spec trim, and occasionally in Spec Iron aboard a 2005–2010 Ford Mustang GT. Over eight seasons he started 73 times and won 16 races.[1]

Price finished fifth in the championship standings in his final active season, 2021, collecting four wins and seven podiums from eight rounds. Across his full NASA career he took 40 podiums. His most consistent competition came against Christopher Williams, a club-level regular with whom he remained closely matched over many meetings, and Robert Keller, a developing driver whom Price typically outfinished. He also scored individual wins over Gar Robinson, an established professional and FIA Silver-graded driver who won the 2021 IMSA WeatherTech LMP3 championship, and over Tyler Cooke, an entry-level professional with experience in IMSA Pilot Challenge.[2]

Price raced mostly for Mazda Miata, a team programme that fielded him in 63 of his 73 starts and has produced 1,257 wins across its roster. His record in spec machinery was built against a field that ranged from amateurs like Williams to established professionals like Robinson competing in the same races; he sat mid-pack in that spread.
