Claude-Yves Gosselin is a Bronze-graded amateur endurance racing driver competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe championship for Rexal Villorba Corse, racing Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo cars in a multiclass field. He has been active across endurance and single-seater racing for 11 seasons since 1995, accumulating 56 starts.[1]
His career has been primarily defined by shared-car endurance racing. He spent five seasons in the FIA GT Championship from 1999 to 2003 with Paul Belmondo Racing, taking four podiums from 35 starts. He returned to international racing in 2019 with six starts in GT World Challenge Europe before joining Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe in 2023, where he has taken one podium from nine starts to date, including appearances at the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final. His only single-seater entry came in International Formula 3000 in 1995, when he made three starts for his own Gosselin Competition team.[2]
Gosselin regularly races against established professionals in mixed-grade fields. He typically finishes ahead of FIA GT Championship champion Luca Cappellari, with whom he shares his racing calendar, and runs closely matched with FIA Silver professional Mike Hezemans. He has finished ahead of stronger drivers including Platinum-graded established professionals; in particular, he has beaten multiple-time IMSA champion Antonio Garcia on six occasions across their shared racing.
