🏳️ Curtis Zhi

Curtis Zhi is a competitive amateur racing in national multiclass sprint championships in the United States. He competes primarily in SCCA Regionals in the SMT class, driving a spec Mazda Miata, and has also raced NASA's Spec Miata series and SCCA Majors since 2024.[1]

Across his three seasons on record, Zhi has taken three wins and nine podiums from 42 starts. His most consistent results have come in SCCA Regionals, where he has nine podiums and three wins from 25 starts; he has also contested 14 NASA starts and three SCCA Majors rounds. In his current 2026 SCCA Regionals campaign, he sits third in the championship standings with four podiums from the six rounds run so far, though the season remains incomplete.[2]

Zhi typically finishes ahead of club-level regular David Martel and remains closely matched with fellow competitive amateur Gregory Smoot, whom he meets frequently across SCCA Regionals and NASA. He has beaten entry-level professional Adam Smalley three times in SCCA Regionals and taken wins against established professional Aaron Jeansonne, who competes in higher formulae including Porsche Carrera Cup North America.
