Daniel Martinson is a competitive amateur racing in PCA Club Racing, a multiclass national championship mixing amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers in a single race. He races Porsches across the 911CUP, E and GTB1 classes. Martinson has been active in the series since 2012.[1]
Over 13 complete seasons through 2024, Martinson took 65 wins and 92 podiums from 128 starts, establishing himself as a consistent front-runner in his classes. He won the PCA Club Racing championship three times: 2018, 2020 and 2021. In the current 2025 season, he has taken one win and two podiums from two rounds and sits 17th in the championship standings.[2]
Martinson races regularly against Niels Meissner, a competitive amateur with 133 PCA Club Racing starts, and runs closely matched with him across their meetings. He typically finishes ahead of Siggi Meissner, a developing driver with 114 starts in the series. Among stronger opposition, Martinson has beaten Dan Clarke, a professional and FIA Silver graded driver who has competed in Porsche Carrera Cup North America and Indy NXT, and Allen Wilt, an entry-level professional with 72 PCA Club Racing starts.
