Roger Sandberg was a competitive amateur racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass endurance championship held in Germany. He drove for Hemopharm racing Team Bratke between 2010 and 2013, competing in the series' SP 7 and SP 10 classes in shared-drive cars against a field mixing amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals.[1]
Sandberg made five starts across four seasons. He finished 21st in the 2013 championship standings in what was his final indexed season. His record against regular opponents was closely matched with entry-level professional Kersten Jodexnis, who had raced extensively in endurance series and in the FIA GT Championship, while he typically finished behind fellow competitive amateur Wolfgang Kemper. He beat entry-level professionals Elmar Grimm and Johannes Siegler once each, both significantly more experienced in the series than himself.[2]
