Grimm was an entry-level professional racing in multiclass endurance series, competing across more than a decade in crewed sportscar events that mixed amateur and established professionals on the same grid. He raced primarily for Car Collection Motorsport in the 24H Series, a 13-country championship featuring GT3 machinery in its three-class structure, taking the car for 24 of his 39 starts. Earlier he raced a Porsche production-based car in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and made a brief FIA GT Championship appearance in 2003.[1]
The bulk of his record came in the 24H Series between 2017 and 2024, where he took five wins and 17 podiums across 27 starts. His earlier work included two podiums in the Nürburgring series. Grimm's most frequent rivals were Charles Putman, a 2018 24H Series A6-AM champion, and Charles Espenlaub, both entry-level professionals with whom he raced closely across multiple campaigns. He finished ahead of Jake Dennis, a Formula E champion and established professional, on one occasion, and ahead of Earl Bamber, a multiple-time IMSA and WEC driver with Platinum grading, once as well.[2]
