🇺🇸 Shane Lewis

Shane Lewis is a retired American professional endurance racing driver and FIA Bronze grade competitor. He spent the bulk of his career in the 24H Series, a multiclass championship mixing amateurs and professionals across 13 countries, where he raced GT3 cars for CP Racing; he also competed in the FIA GT Championship, IMSA WeatherTech and the IMSA Pilot Challenge in shared-car endurance events. His 49 starts across 13 seasons yielded 6 wins and 15 podiums.[1]

Lewis's record is rooted in the 24H Series, where he took 27 starts with CP Racing from 2019 to 2024, scoring 6 wins and 13 podiums. He won his sole podium in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in the same period, and took an additional podium in International GT in 2023. Earlier in his career he started the FIA GT Championship in 1997 and 1999 and made one outing in the IMSA Prototype Challenge in 2022; a single Trans-Am TA2 start in 2018 and two IMSA Pilot Challenge rounds completed his resume. His most recent racing was in 2024.[2]

In 24H Series company, Lewis typically finished behind Ralf Bohn, the 2024 GT3 champion, but raced closely with Alfred Renauer, a two-time GT3 champion in the series. Across his career he twice finished ahead of drivers from much stronger backgrounds: Chase Briscoe, an ARCA champion with 225 NASCAR Cup starts, and Austin Cindric, a two-time NASCAR Xfinity champion with significant single-seater experience. CP Racing, his primary team across 30 of his 49 starts, fielded eight drivers and took 22 wins across the index.
