Randy LaJoie is a retired professional stock car driver who spent 19 seasons in NASCAR Xfinity, a single-class national championship that fields amateur and professional drivers in the same races. He competed primarily on oval tracks for Jay Robinson Racing, accumulating 350 starts between 1986 and 2006.[1]

LaJoie won the NASCAR Xfinity championship in consecutive years, 1996 and 1997, both with BACE Motorsports. His career record across those two decades shows 15 wins and 43 podiums. He raced consistently against professional opposition; his regular competitors included Jason Keller and Mike McLaughlin, both of whom he ran closely matched against through their shared seasons in the series. He also finished ahead of drivers who went on to reach higher levels, including Denny Hamlin, who would become an elite professional in NASCAR Cup, and Tony Stewart, the 1997 IndyCar champion, whom he beat 30 times across their NASCAR Xfinity meetings.[2]
