Al LaSorte is a competitive amateur racing in national multiclass championships. He raced Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport cars in the International GT CAY3.8 class during 2022 and 2023, and competed in NASA's Super Touring 2 class in 2021. His record spans 13 starts across both series.[1]

He scored two podiums in two NASA starts in 2021, finishing 20th in the championship standings that season, and added two podiums across 11 International GT starts in 2022 and 2023. In International GT he was closely matched against regular opponents including semi-professional Joe Rizzo and club-level Thomas Bigony. His strongest results came against drivers significantly above his level; he finished ahead of FIA Gold professional Trent Hindman once and entry-level professional Spencer Pumpelly twice across their meetings.[2]
