Ronnie Saurenmann is a professional endurance racing driver, FIA Bronze graded, who raced in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2010 and 2016. He competed in multiclass endurance racing at the Nürburgring, sharing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, modified production-based racers and GT3 machinery across the Cup 2, SP 7 and SP 9 classes. His primary team was Car Collection Motorsport, though he also ran with Audi on four starts.[1]
Across seven seasons Saurenmann made 15 starts in the series, yielding one podium finish and a final championship standing of 40th in 2016. His record in regular competition placed him typically behind fellow Bronze-graded professionals Marc Busch and Dennis Busch, both regulars with substantially higher start counts at the Nürburgring. In isolated instances he finished ahead of much stronger opposition, including Laurens Vanthoor, an established professional and multiple IMSA and WEC champion, and Sven Müller, a Gold-graded professional who has raced in FIA Formula 3 European and ADAC GT Masters.[2]
