🇩🇪 Tim Zimmermann

Tim Zimmermann is a professional German racing driver, FIA Silver grade, who has raced primarily in shared-car GT and endurance championships. His main career has been in ADAC GT Masters with Huber Racing, a national German championship in which GT3 cars are shared between drivers. He also competed in ADAC Formula 4 as a single-seater driver early in his career, and made brief appearances in international GT racing with GRT Grasser Racing Team.[1]

Across six seasons from 2015 to 2024, Zimmermann took 64 starts and scored two wins and six podiums. His stronger results came in ADAC GT Masters, where he won twice and took three podiums from 28 starts between 2021 and 2023. In ADAC Formula 4 in 2015, he finished in the points three times from 21 starts. His international forays were limited; he made four starts in GT World Challenge Europe and three in IMSA WeatherTech, both for GRT Grasser, without scoring points. His most recent racing came in 2023 Prototype Cup Germany, where he finished 23rd in the championship standings from two starts.[2]

Zimmermann raced regularly against Kim-Luis Schramm, a Silver-graded professional who has 58 ADAC Formula 4 starts and 32 ADAC GT Masters starts, and was closely matched with him. He more often finished ahead of Jannes Fittje, another Silver-graded professional with similar experience. On rare occasions he finished ahead of established professionals; he beat Maro Engel, the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion with 87 starts in that series, twice, and Matt Campbell, a multiple WEC LMGTE Am champion with 45 IMSA WeatherTech starts, once.
