Dave Lancaster is a club-level driver racing in national solo-sprint championships in the United States. He competes primarily in SCCA Regionals, where he drives a one-design Spec Racer Ford in the SRF3 class. He has also made starts in SCCA Majors and American Endurance Racing, a shared-car multiclass series.[1]
Lancaster has raced for seven seasons since 2019, accumulating 26 starts across three series. In SCCA Regionals he has taken one win and seven podiums from 20 starts; he also finished on the podium once in four American Endurance Racing starts and made two starts in SCCA Majors without a podium. His current 2026 SCCA Regionals season is in progress, with one podium so far from four rounds and a position of 50th in the championship standings.[2]
His regular competition comes from closely matched club-level drivers including Greg Miller and Greg Brinkman, both established regulars in SCCA Regionals and Majors. He has beaten competitive-amateur drivers including Alex Rubenstein, a three-time American Endurance Racing Class 4 champion, and Jeffrey Herridge, a 2016 American Endurance Racing Class 5 champion, each once.
