David Biegert is a club-level racing driver who raced in SCCA Regionals from 2022 to 2024. He drove a first-generation Mazda Miata in the SSM class, competing in a multiclass national championship that mixed amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers on the same track.[1]
Biegert made 27 starts across three seasons in SCCA Regionals, finishing 34th in the 2024 championship standings. He finished ahead of regular opponents Jay Bindrim and James Roberts with some consistency throughout his time in the series. Among the strongest drivers he has raced, he beat Morgan Burkhard, an entry-level professional who has also competed in IMSA Pilot Challenge and SCCA Majors, on three occasions, and once finished ahead of Camden Gruber, who has contested SCCA Majors and NASA racing.[2]
