David Holmes is a club-level driver racing in national multiclass championships in the United States. He competes primarily in SCCA regional and national events, driving production-based and near-stock cars including a Chevrolet Corvette in the Super Touring 3 class for NASA and T2 class machinery for SCCA competition.[1]

Across four seasons from 2023 through 2026, Holmes has started 23 times and taken one win, in NASA competition, along with ten podium finishes. His record is split between SCCA Regionals, where he has run most frequently with six podiums from 12 starts, and shorter campaigns in NASA, SCCA Majors and the SCCA Runoffs. He currently sits in the early stages of the 2026 SCCA Runoffs season.[2]

Holmes typically finishes behind Josh Carroll, a competitive amateur with 40 NASA starts and established depth across the regional series. His results read closely matched against Greg Nester, a fellow club-level regular in the same events. He has beaten Tim Moser, a competitive amateur graded FIA Bronze, twice across their meetings, and posted one finish ahead of Robert Weston, a competitive amateur with substantial NASA mileage.
