David Williens competed in a single season of International GT racing in 2022, compiling ten starts without a win or podium finish. His Racer Rating of 929 places him in the developing category, describing drivers with consistently limited results against competitive fields or too few races to have progressed beyond entry level. Williens finished on average in eleventh position across his classified starts, demonstrating competitive pace relative to some rivals but not the consistency required to convert starts into stronger results.[1]

Williens' record against his most frequent competitors reveals the challenge he faced in the field. He finished behind Javier Ripoll and Brady Behrman in all ten shared races, two semi-professional drivers substantially stronger than himself; Behrman was the 2022 International GT GT3.8 champion.
