🏳️ David Zippie

David Zippie raced in karting at the competitive amateur level, with a rating of 2,517 placing him in the club racing band; this represents drivers at the front of regional and club fields rather than those racing full-time against professionals. His career record consists of a single entry in the 2008 SKUSA SuperNationals, where he finished twenty-fifth in the field. He has since retired from racing.[1]

The single appearance does not constitute a meaningful competitive record, but Zippie's entry drew a field strong enough to include former Indy 500 winner Dan Wheldon and IndyCar professional Buddy Rice, both of whom he outfinished. His rating reflects the isolated nature of this result and the absence of any sustained racing history against which to establish a pattern or trajectory. With only one race across a sixteen-year gap to the present, Zippie did not continue in organised competition beyond that event.
