Eric Lichtenstein is a retired Argentine racing driver who competed in single-seater and karting championships. He raced for Carlin in the GP3 Series in 2013, a single-class championship mixing amateurs and professionals, and made one start in the SKUSA SuperNationals in 2008, competing in the TaG Senior class of that multiclass karting event. His indexed career spans eight starts across two seasons.[1]
In the GP3 Series, Lichtenstein raced against a field that included established and elite professionals. He finished ahead of Carlos Sainz, the 2014 Formula V8 3.5 champion and a subsequent Formula 1 driver, on one occasion, and beat Conor Daly, the 2010 Star Mazda champion, once as well. His record against regular opponents was mixed; he was closely matched with Patric Niederhauser, an established professional with extensive experience in GT and single-seater racing, but typically finished behind Giovanni Venturini, another established professional who had raced across multiple championships.[2]
