Filip Mitev is a club-level driver who raced in national endurance motorsport, competing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie V6 class for BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction. The series is a multiclass championship in which cars are shared by multiple drivers taking turns during each race, with amateurs and semi-professionals racing alongside graded professionals on the same grid.[1]
Mitev made three starts across two seasons, 2013 to 2014, and finished 24th in the championship standings in his final season. He typically finished behind regular opponents Ivan Jacoma, a three-time series V6 champion and entry-level professional, and Rüdiger Schicht, a semi-professional with over a hundred starts in the series. He was occasionally competitive against stronger drivers; he finished ahead of Gabriele Piana, a professional who has since raced in GT World Challenge Europe, on one occasion, and beat Dominique Bastien, an entry-level professional with World Endurance Championship experience, once across their head-to-head meetings.[2]
