He finished 34th in that outing and did not score points or podium finishes. Bellemare's one recorded start came against a field that included several drivers of considerably higher standing. He finished ahead of Mark Wilkins, a Gold-graded professional and 2019 champion in IMSA Pilot Challenge TCR; John Pew, a Silver-graded professional; and drivers including Gerardo Bonilla and Logan Gomez, both semi-professional competitors. Though he beat these drivers on that single occasion, the limited sample means little can be drawn about his competitive position. After 2006, Bellemare did not race again and is now retired from competition.
