Juliana Chiovitti is a competitive amateur driver who raced briefly in the Star Mazda Championship, the entry-level single-seater series. Chiovitti's Racer Rating of 2,752 places her in the competitive amateur band; this level describes the front of club racing and entry-level professional competition, drivers who are quick and racing against professionals but typically not consistently winning or leading fields. Her recorded career comprises a single start in 2002, which yielded no podium finish.[1]

In that one outing, Chiovitti finished thirty-fourth but beat several drivers who would go on to stronger records elsewhere. She outran Pierre Ehret, an FIA Bronze-graded driver and professional road racer; Justin Pruskowski and his brother Joe, both semi-professional drivers; and John Olsen, another semi-professional competitor. A single result against stronger drivers is not a pattern, but it indicates that Chiovitti was competitive against experienced opposition in her appearance.
