Frank Garcia is a developing amateur competitor in national-level club racing. His career spans six seasons from 2017 to 2022, racing solo in multiclass championships across PCA Club Racing, SCCA Majors, and SCCA Runoffs, as well as a brief stint in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup. He drove for Universal Motorsports in the MX-5 Cup in 2017.[1]
Garcia took one win across 36 starts, in PCA Club Racing's SPB Porsche class, and finished in the top three on five other occasions; four of those podiums came in SCCA Majors racing in T3 specification cars. His record in PCA Club Racing, where he spent most of his time, shows him usually finishing behind established regulars including Bill Rudtner and Bernard Nussbaumer. In the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup he made two starts and finished 21st in the championship standings. His most notable results came against higher-level company; he finished ahead of Luca Mars, a professional and Silver-graded driver who would go on to win multiple IMSA championships, and Tyler Gonzalez, an entry-level professional who took the 2023 TGRNA GR Cup North America Am title.[2]
