Gary Derian is a club-level driver racing in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass national endurance championship in which production-based and single-seater cars share the grid across five classes. He races Class 1 and Class Indy machinery as a co-driver in shared-car racing.[1]
Derian made four starts across two seasons between 2015 and 2022. He took one win and three podiums from those starts, finishing tenth in the 2022 American Endurance Racing season standings. He typically finished ahead of competitive amateurs David Gausman and Brett Cleer, both multiple class champions in the series, and beat entry-level professional Tyler Chambers once across their limited head-to-head meetings.[2]
