Roy Shanholtz is a developing driver in club-level endurance racing. His Racer Rating of 1,026 places him at the entry end of competitive motorsport, where drivers are building experience in real licensed competition but typically race in fields that do not include full-time professionals. Shanholtz contested two rounds of American Endurance Racing in 2020, recording one podium finish and an average finishing position of fifth across his starts. His single season on record ended in 2020, and he has since retired from active competition.[1]
Shanholtz's limited racing résumé includes one notable result: he finished ahead of Darius Trinka, a FIA Bronze graded driver and 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA ProAm champion, once during the 2020 season. He also beat several other competitors across his two events, including drivers with prior club-level credentials. These individual results provide limited basis for broader assessment of his standing, given the small sample of races contested and the nature of endurance racing fields, where diverse experience levels compete within the same entry.
