David Gausman races in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass national endurance series in which cars are shared among multiple drivers per entry. He is a competitive amateur competing across the series' Class 1, Class 3, and Class 4 divisions, which field production-based cars. Gausman has been racing at this level since 2021.[1]
Across six seasons he has taken 11 wins and 31 podiums from 59 starts. He won the American Endurance Racing championship in 2021, 2024, and 2025. In the 2026 season, still in progress, Gausman leads the championship standings with two wins and three podiums from six rounds raced so far.[2]
Gausman has finished ahead of an entry-level professional in bronze-graded Alex Vogel, who brings experience across GT America and GT4 America alongside American Endurance Racing. His most regular opponents are Azim Aliriza and Karsten Richards, both club and competitive amateur drivers respectively and both former American Endurance Racing champions. Against each of them, Gausman runs closely matched.
