🇺🇸 George Lawrence

George Lawrence is a semi-professional endurance racing driver competing in the McLaren Trophy America Pro-Am class for Flying Lizard Motorsports. He races a shared-cockpit car in a multiclass championship that mixes amateur and professional drivers; his FIA Bronze grading places him among the amateur drivers in that field. His first indexed season began in 2025.[1]

Lawrence has completed four rounds of McLaren Trophy America, finishing seventh in the championship standings with one podium result. He has beaten entry-level professional Andrew Davis twice and once finished ahead of Jon Lancaster, a professional with extensive single-seater experience in the GP2 Series, Formula V8 3.5 and Formula 3 Euro Series. Against Davis, his most frequent opponent, he runs closely matched. He usually finishes behind Jesse Lazare, the 2025 McLaren Trophy America Pro-Am champion and a regular competitor in IMSA's national and professional series.[2]
