Stephan Kuhs is a semi-professional endurance racing driver from Germany. He raced multiclass championships at the Nürburgring between 2014 and 2019, sharing BMW one-make cup cars and modified production machinery with co-drivers across 17 starts. His primary team was Team Mathol Racing.[1]
Over two seasons in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie from 2014 to 2015, Kuhs took one win and three podiums from 15 starts in the Cup 1 and SP 8 classes. He added a single start each in the 24H Series in 2017 and the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2019, both in 991-class Porsche and Cup 5-class BMW machinery respectively. Across multiclass fields mixing amateurs with graded professionals, he was closely matched with entry-level professional Maximilian Hackländer and regularly finished behind Thorsten Wolz, also an entry-level professional and later Langstrecken-Serie champion. He finished ahead of established professional Luca Stolz once and professional Maximilian Buhk once.[2]
