🏳️ James R Breakey

James R Breakey was a club-level competitor whose career in PCA Club Racing spanned six seasons from 2004 to 2009. His Racer Rating of 1,030 places him in the developing band; he represented the back end of club racing, where fields are typically composed of regional amateurs rather than paid professionals. Across 31 starts, he recorded 3 wins and 9 podium finishes, with an average result of sixth place.[1]

Breakey's record against his peers reflects competitive if uneven form. Against Caryl S Brensinger, a much less experienced driver, he held a strong advantage, finishing ahead in seven of eight shared races. His head-to-head records against Rod F Johnson and Normand Houle were mixed, and he consistently finished behind Gary C Pennington and Rafael A Llopiz, who won PCA Club Racing championships in the GTC3 class. Most noteworthy in Breakey's record were occasional results against drivers of higher calibre; he beat MO Dadkhah, a semi-professional rated driver, once, and Tim Sanderson twice across their meetings. These were isolated victories rather than patterns of sustained competitiveness at that level. His final season in 2009 produced no wins or podiums across seven rounds, finishing fifteenth, marking the end of his racing career.
