Jason Lare is a competitive amateur racing in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass championship where two or more drivers share each car across endurance races run in the United States and Canada. He races production-based machinery in the Class 1, Class 2 and Class Indy categories.[1]
Lare won the 2016 American Endurance Racing championship across nine seasons of involvement with the series from 2015 to 2024. He recorded six wins and sixteen podiums from twenty-six starts. In 2024, his most recent season on record, he took one win and three podiums from three rounds raced, finishing eighth in the season standings.[2]
Among the regulars in the endurance field, Lare usually finishes ahead of developing driver Steve Lady and runs closely matched against competitive amateur Benjamin Haymann. He has beaten entry-level professionals Carter Fartuch, who also races GT4 America and NASCAR Truck racing, and Mark Smith, who competes extensively in club and national-level sportscar championships including the British GT Championship.
