🇭🇺 Adam Lengyel

Adam Lengyel is a competitive amateur racing in a national multiclass endurance series. Silver-graded, he competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie for Car Competition Racing Team, piloting a modified production-based race car in the SP 3 class, and made one appearance in the Nürburgring 24 Hours for Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe in an alternative-fuel car. His indexed career spans two seasons and seven starts, ending in 2022.[1]

Lengyel won the 2022 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie championship with Car Competition Racing Team, taking four wins and five podiums across six starts in the series. He added a podium finish at the 2022 Nürburgring 24 Hours. His record in the Langstrecken-Serie showed consistent pace against the regulars in his class; he usually finished ahead of Gerrit Holthaus, a semi-professional driver who won the SP 3 championship in 2016 and has 62 starts in the series, and Stephan Epp, a fellow competitive amateur and Bronze-graded driver with 78 Langstrecken-Serie starts and two earlier SP 3 titles. In the multiclass fields at the Nürburgring, Lengyel also finished ahead of Kazuki Nakajima, an established professional and three-time WEC LMP1 champion who has raced in Formula 1, and bettered Gilles Magnus, a professional Gold-graded driver with extensive GT and touring-car credentials, twice across their meetings.[2]
