🇩🇪 Stefan Ertl

Stefan Ertl is a competitive amateur racer competing in national German endurance championships. He drives for Reiter Engineering in the SP 7 class at the Nürburgring 24 Hours, a multiclass endurance series where production-based race cars share the track with 16 other classes and drivers rotate through long-distance races. He also races front-wheel-drive turbocharged production cars in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie for SRS Team Sorg Rennsport, a 4-round national championship that runs the same multiclass format at the Nürburgring.[1]

His record spans four seasons from 2023 to 2026 across these two series, totalling six starts. He took his first win in the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours and has one podium finish on record. He currently holds a podium from the first round of the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours season, which is still in progress.[2]

The Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie fields a mix of amateurs, semi-professionals and entry-level professionals in the same races. Ertl has regularly competed against Oskar Sandberg and Daniel Zils, both series veterans and multiple Langstrecken-Serie champions; he typically finishes behind them. He has beaten entry-level professionals including Ranko Mijatovic, a 2024 and 2025 series champion, and Edward Mcdermott. SRS Team Sorg Rennsport, his primary team, fields drivers ranging from amateurs to professionals and has accumulated 82 wins across the championship.
