Jay Kostecki is a competitive amateur driver in his first season of racing in the index, rated 2,089. This places him at the club racing level; he competes in fields that do not yet meet the standard of full professionals, though his early results show promise against more experienced opposition.[1]

Kostecki has one start on record, in the 2025 SKUSA SuperNationals, where he finished ninth. That result included victories over several semi-professional drivers: Edward Kennedy (rated 3,091), Benym Abernethy (3,056), and Cole Medeiros (3,053) all finished behind him. In his first outing at this level, Kostecki beat drivers with substantially higher ratings, a genuinely notable result for a driver entering this series. His background in karting, where he won the ROK International Supercup in 2024 and added success at Macau later that year, has clearly provided strong preparation.

With only one classified result to date, the pattern of Kostecki's racing remains to be established. His competitive standing will become clearer as he accumulates more starts in the SuperNationals and potentially moves up the racing ladder.
